Digital Signal Processing Hardware/FPGA Engineer

Develop state of the art custom signal processing hardware platforms using the latest FPGA and DSP technology. Candidates for this position must have the ability to design signal processing algorithms using MatLab and implement these algorithms in FPGAs using VHDL. In addition, the candidate may have the opportunity to design state of the art custom printed circuit boards that implement these signal processing algorithms. BSEE required. MSEE preferred.

Software Developer/Embedded Software Design Engineer

Become part of a team of engineers who are building the next generation of signal processing systems. Avid Systems currently has openings for software engineers experienced in the design of hardware control, embedded signal processing, and graphical user interfaces. The ideal candidate will be experienced with Linux and Windows operating systems, both on general purpose processors and embedded processors. Candidates should have programming skills in one or more of the following languages: C, C++, C#, or Java. Candidates must have a B.S in computer science or electrical engineering, although a master’s degree is preferred. Experience developing signal processing algorithms is considered an additional strength.
