The AVS-1040 is an FPGA based radar pulse processor. The AVS-1040 outputs radar pulse description words that provide the radar pulse frequency, amplitude, time of arrival and pulse duration. In addition, the AVS-1040 can detect pulse on pulse and detect modulated radar pulses. The AVS-1040 processes this information at 250 MHz and produces a pulse descriptor word in approximately 10 ns.
The AVS-1040 is a radar pulse processor used in electronic warfare (EW) systems to characterize radar pulse signatures. The AVS-1040 pulse processor can be mated with a customer defined microwave subsystem to provide radar characterization over any required frequency range.
